This new year has already been a whirlwind. I told myself I would only take on projects this year that I was truly passionate about and that I would go into with more intention, and I have been doing just that thus far. I believe in my business, but I also believe in continuing to learn the ropes; to get better at my craft. It helps so much to get together with other creatives, who I can learn from by asking them questions and seeing another photographer in action. It is definitely eye opening for me, and I come out of photoshoots, like this styled one, more pumped and ready to showcase what I can offer my clients. I did not take on photography professionally to only capture moments, but to leave my clients feeling all the raw emotions and love simply by the images I have taken. If my photos do not tell a story, then I did not do my job. That is what 2020 is about for me... to reach that goal of genuinely telling stories through stills, being a part of a community and less about competition and taking on clients that believe in the finishing product I produce just as much as I believe in it.
